XXIII Conference - The Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics
Salerno, 4th - 7th September 2017
For the last 50 years, the conference of the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics has been an important meeting place for scientists working in the field of general, fluid, solid and structural mechanics, as well as mechanics for machines and mechanical systems.
The aim of the meeting is to promote an exchange of ideas and expertise among the participants, to stimulate interest in novel research topics, and to share the most recent scientific results in the field. The conference's topics are related to all aspects of scientific research in mechanics, including theoretical, computational and experimental techniques and technological applications. The meeting also covers new multidisciplinary approaches. The conference will host invited plenary lectures, minisymposia on specific and emerging themes, as well as general sessions on the more traditional topics in mechanics.
